The Eucharist is the center of the life of our parish community. The Sunday Eucharistic celebration brings our community together to celebrate our shared faith and worship our loving God. In coming together as a community, Christ powerfully becomes present in our midst. Click for the St. Dominic Mass schedule.
Our parish children celebrate the Sacrament of First Eucharist in the spring of their second grade year in the elementary school and PSR programs. The First Eucharist program is centered in the family and prepares children for this sacred meal of our faith. Through parent and child meetings, the family is offered support and education in preparation for the Sacrament. Volunteers, especially those who don’t have children in preparation for the Sacrament, are needed to help with Jesus Day, First Eucharist Mass practice and the dinner offered for the children and their parents.
If you have a family member or friend who would appreciate having communion brought to their house or to them in an area nursing home please, contact Bonnie Stein: 216-991-1444 or bonniestein1@yahoo.com. She will try to set up a time with you for someone to visit your loved one and bring the Eucharist to them.
The RCIA process prepares interested adult parishioners for full communion with the church, therefore the sacrament is celebrated for the first time at Easter Vigil.
