In addition to attending as part of the congregation, parishioners are invited to participate in Mass by volunteering to be:
Eucharistic Ministers assist in the distribution of Eucharist at all liturgies and to the homebound of our parish. For those serving at liturgies, schedules are prepared and distributed well in advance to give adequate notice. Individual Ministers of Care also serve on teams to share the Eucharist with local nursing facilities and our homebound parishioners. Preparation to serve as a Eucharistic Minister requires a diocesan training session.

The lectors proclaim the Word of God in the First and Second Readings of the liturgy. This important ministry is an opportunity to make the Word of God come to life for all! Training sessions are provided for those interested in this ministry. Lector schedules are distributed well in advance to give adequate notice for preparation.

Greeters and ushers welcome and assist parishioners with their gift of hospitality. The role of a greeter provides the perfect opportunity for any individual, couple or family to be of service to the community by sharing their warm, welcoming spirit at the entrances of our church.
The adult ushers not only greet people at our entrances for our weekend liturgies, but they also take up the collection and seat people at Mass. We are called to lead others to Christ by our example. Through retreats, social activities, one-on-one interaction and group faith sharing, we grow closer to Christ and closer to each other in our faith.
Weekend Sacristans help set up the sanctuary, vessels and liturgical books before Masses as well as clean up after the service. Sacristans also assist in the on-going care and cleaning of the sanctuary, the altar, altar linens and robes.
