Ash Wednesday

The season of Lent begins this Wednesday, as Christians throughout the world begin these 40 sacred days with the celebration of Ash Wednesday. We will celebrate Mass at 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. with the distribution of Ashes at both Masses.

2026 Lenten Collection

This Lent we will continue on the tradition of giving alms each week to a Project Serve partner. Some of these agencies have been on the list year after year and look forward to your donations each Lent!

Opportunity for Advocacy

In response to the US Bishop’s Special Message on Immigration (U.S. Bishops Issue a “Special Message” on Immigration from Plenary Assembly in Baltimore | USCCB), St. Dominic will join other parishes in the area and have letters to our elected officials available for you to sign after Mass at Donut Sunday on Sunday, February 8, 2026. This is a collaborative effort of our parish and the Social Action Office of the Diocese of Cleveland.

Please read through the Special Message from the Bishops and prayerfully consider signing 3 letters – 2 Senators, 1 Representative – on February 8th.  If you are unable to attend Donut Sunday but still want to participate, you are welcome to sign the letters and return them to the rectory so they can be included in our bulk delivery of letters to our elected officials. The letters to be signed are available at the link below.

These small acts of advocacy & solidarity reflect Jesus’ call to love those most in need.

2025 Parish Census

To be able to serve you and your family in the best way possible, we are asking for your help with an important task—filling out our parish census. By filling out the census, you’re helping us keep track of our parish's needs and make sure no one is ever overlooked.

Each family must complete one census form: either the online request that has been sent to all families, or a census form (linked below). The PDF census form can be emailed to census@stdominicchurch.net or returned to the rectory.

Please review the letter (More Details, below) for further information and contact census@stdominicchurch.net with any questions!
